Magic: The Gathering gets a song from Hatsune Miku

What makes the popular card game? Magia: The meeting of Wizards of the Coast and the Hatsune Miku Virtual Idol have in common? It could be said that not much, but thanks to the next _Magia: the expansion set, _Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, there is a definitive answer since Hatsune Miku has launched a new music video to celebrate it. So, that is something that exists now and something that can be reviewed again and again.

More specifically, Miku sings «Connected» from MWK, which is an original song created for the launch of _Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, in a music video with a futuristic scenario of Kamigawa as a backdrop. While the song and music video are absolutely to Miku, the new set of expansion itself does not have it. Which, to be honest, is a penalty considering the recent crosses that Wizards of the Coast has done in recent years.

If you are not familiar with Kamigawa as a scenario and the specific ways in which neon_dinasty is updating it, all this may seem a bit strange. The original Kamigawa block was greatly inspired by Japanese folklore and fairy tales, but _Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty takes on that distant world in the future, 1,200 years, to be accurate, after the events of those sets. In essence, Wizards of the Coast is making a Set Cyberpunk with all appropriate hypertechnological accessories, such as Mechs. Having a virtual idol making a song makes much more sense in that context.
