SONY sloppy infrastructure blocks upgrades from Ghost of Tsushima PS4 to PS5 after the claim of PS more Legends

There is a lot to love in the PS shop ** and Sony’s improvements to its infrastructure, but secular problems continue to appear. While adding Ghost of Tsushima: Legends this month was supposed to be a sweetener for subscribers, it turns out to be anything but a handful of fans looking to upgrade their PS4 version of the beginnings of Jin Sakai. to the Director’s Cut PS5.

Certainly, it is a niche problem and it is unlikely that it affects everyone, but it should be kept in mind. Then here is the situation: if you own Ghost of Tsushima on PS4 but you have not upgraded to Director’s Cut on PS5, do not claim the PS5 version of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends currently available for PS More the subscribers.

The problem is: Although Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is a stand-alone version of the game multiplayer mode, the PS Store class as part of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut. Therefore, if you are claiming Legends with your PS subscription and then decide to upgrade the main PS4 game to PS5, you will be blocked upgrade fees.

Not surprisingly, Sony will always allow you to buy Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut at a high price for PS5, but you will not be eligible for a reduced price. The only solution is to contact the Sony client support and get the PS version more than you claimed “refunded” so that you can continue and buy the PS4 upgrade to PS5 **. Yes, it’s a complete and absolute mess, but it’s not the first time a problem like this unfortunately occurs.

Playstation may now be aware of the problem and resolves, but if you plan to go to Director’s Cut at any time, do not claim Ghost of Tsushima: Legends with PS more – it’s more complicated than it’s worth, it seems.
